The rules

1 lucky charm 🍀 is equal to 1 ticket to the raffle. The more charms you have, the more tickets to that particular raffle you have. We will use some examples below to give you a clear idea of how this works!

Example 1

5 fans enter. Each of them has 1 lucky charm. The chance to win for each fan is 1/5 = 20%

Example 2

We have 5 users, one user has 2 lucky charms, the others each have 1. In total there are 6 lucky charms (2+1+1+1+1)

The fan with 2 lucky charms has a 2/6 (33%) chance to win

Each fan with 1 charm has 1/6 (17%) chance to win

Example 3

We have 5 fans. One fan has 4 lucky charms, one fan has 3 lucky charms, one fan has 2 lucky charms the other 2 fans have 1 each. In total there are; 4+3+2+1+1 =11 lucky charms.

The fan with 4 lucky charms has 4/11 (36%) chance to win.

The fan with 3 lucky charms has 3/11 (27%) chance to win.

The fan with 2 lucky charms has 2/11 (18%) chance to win.

Each fan with 1 lucky charm has 1/11 (9%) chance to win.

Example 4

We have 50 fans entering a raffle. In total there are 350 lucky charms.

A fan with 20 charms has a 20/350 (5.7%) chance to win.

A fan with 15 charms has 15/350 (4.2%) chance to win.

A fan with 2 charms has a 2/350 (0.06%) chance to win.

A first time fan, with 1 charm, has a 1/350 (0.03%) chance to win this time.
