I can't sell my tickets

Are you experiencing difficulties selling your ticket on TicketSwap? We're here to help. Here are some answers to common issues:

  1. I have a FREE ticket

Unfortunately, it's not possible to sell free or discounted tickets. These tickets are often personalised, and only the original buyer can use them. Moreover, selling free tickets is not in compliance with our terms of use and government regulations. At TicketSwap, you can sell tickets for a maximum of their original price, so we don't allow the sale of these types of tickets.

  2. The category for my ticket doesn't exist

Oh no! To add this category, we would need the following:

    • The category name.

    • A purchase confirmation indicating the price.

    • The ticket in question.

You can forward the purchase confirmation and the ticket to info@ticketswap.com with reference to this request. Once received, we will contact you via email to confirm if the category has been added successfully. 😊

  3. I have multiple tickets on the same document

Generally, our system automatically separates your tickets when you upload the complete PDF document. However, sometimes, the system may struggle to separate them when QR/barcodes are on the same page. In case our system doesn't separate your tickets automatically, an agent will need to assist you. Feel free to reach out to our customer support!

  4. I don't have a ticket in PDF format

At TicketSwap, we only allow the sale of tickets in PDF or PKPASS format. If you don't have tickets in PDF format, the event organiser may be able to provide you with the PDF version of the ticket. If that's the case, you should be able to proceed. However, if your tickets are not yet available in PDF format and are only available a few days before the event, you'll unfortunately have to wait until they become available!

  5. I want to sell a ticket purchased on another resale platform

Unfortunately, we do not permit the resale of tickets that have been purchased on a secondary platform such as Craigslist or Viagogo. Since you're not the original purchaser (and may not be the only person in possession of the ticket(s)), the validity of these ticket(s) cannot be guaranteed. Hence, it won't be possible to list them for sale on TicketSwap.

  6. It says I can't sell my tickets for this event

If you receive a message stating that you can't sell your tickets for a specific event, it may be due to restrictions imposed by the event organiser. Organisers sometimes have strict policies regarding ticket resale for their events. In such cases, we recommend reaching out directly to the organiser for more information.

  7. The event is in France

Unfortunately, you won't be able to buy or sell tickets for this event as it's not active on our platform. 😞 Starting from January 1, 2023, TicketSwap has introduced a new experience for event enthusiasts in France: TicketSwap will exclusively allow the sale and purchase of partner events on the platform. This means that all tickets sold and purchased for French events will be as secure as possible, as we will work in cooperation with event organisers and websites to ensure the absolute security and validity of ticket transactions on TicketSwap! So, less uncertainty, safer tickets, more protection, and more fun! 🤩 Unfortunately, this also means that it's no longer possible to resell tickets for events that we are not partners with, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you'd like to see this event on TicketSwap in the future, feel free to contact the event organisers and let them know! In the meantime, you're welcome to explore TicketSwap for similar events in the genre, location, or region of this event.
