Why do I need to share my details?
Whether you're signing up or selling tickets, we may ask for some personal info. We know uploading a photo of your ID or sharing your address might cause some questions, but we need these details to safely process your payouts.
We follow Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and international standards for organisations. These regulations make sure marketplaces like ours are used fairly and remain safe for everyone. This means we need to verify the identities of our fans.
How is TicketSwap keeping my info safe?
Your verification details are only used to check your identity – they’re never stored permanently on our platform. We work with a trusted payment provider called Stripe, which securely manages data following KYC guidelines. They do this for many global companies including ours.
What happens if I don’t add my details?
If you’ve sold a ticket, we won’t be able to send the amount until we have the info needed to process the payout. Don’t worry, you can still complete your profile later on after selling. Just head over to your Identity verification page in your profile.
