Rescheduled events

We have seen some event cancelations but many more event organizers are choosing to postpone, rather than cancel. In these cases, the tickets remain valid. If you are still unable to attend, TicketSwap remains the safest way to sell your ticket to other fans. We are working closely with our event partners to have the most up-to-date information and will continue to closely monitor the situation, which is constantly changing.

What happens if the event I sold tickets for gets canceled or rescheduled due to corona?

This depends on each event, as not every organizer will handle this the same way. This means we have to wait to see what decision they’re going to make. Fans who bought a ticket via the official ticket shop should expect to receive an email from the organizer on what steps to take next.

The event I have tickets for has been rescheduled but the date isn't confirmed, what should I do?

The best thing to do is keep an eye out for official communications from the organizer on their social media or the Facebook event. We're also working closely with organizers and as soon as we have a confirmed rescheduled date, we'll send you an email to let you know!

What happens if the event I bought tickets for has been rescheduled due to coronavirus?

If you have tickets to an event that’s been rescheduled, your ticket still guarantees entry. In most cases, you will use the same ticket. In special cases, the event organizer may issue new tickets to the original buyers. If you have purchased a ticket on TicketSwap that gets replaced, we will swap your ticket with the original ticket holder to make sure you have the ticket that gets you in.

What if I can’t attend the event on the rescheduled date?

If unfortunately, you cannot attend then you can still resell your ticket to another fan on TicketSwap.

Canceled events:

I have tickets for a canceled event and the organizer hasn't said anything about refunds yet, what do I do next?
Organizers are doing their best in dealing with this unprecedented situation. We ask you not to contact the organizer directly but recommend keeping an eye on their official website, social media channels, and the Facebook event, for more updates. We're working with our partners to get more information and as soon as we know more, we'll be in touch through email to update you.

The event I bought or sold tickets for has been canceled and the organizer has said they'll be giving refunds, how can I get my money back?

Usually, the refund will be given back to the seller. In this case, within two weeks we'll ask both to join a private chat where you can organize the refund between you - this can be done via a payment link or bank transfer. We'll make sure everyone understands their obligations to each other and treats each other fairly!

The event I bought tickets for has been canceled and the organizer has said they'll not be giving refunds

Unfortunately, if the organizer has said that they are unable to refund the original buyer, it's not possible to request a refund from your seller.
