TicketSwap is a secure platform for buying and selling tickets for concerts, festivals, sports events, theatre shows and other types of live entertainment. With our platform, you can easily and safely buy and sell your spare tickets.
In some countries, fees work slightly differently. Learn more about how fees work in Belgium, France, Italy, Poland and Denmark.
Here are the fees associated with using TicketSwap:
Selling tickets
Creating a listing on TicketSwap is free. If you successfully sell a ticket, we charge a service fee of 5% of the selling price. So, for a €60 ticket, you would receive €57.
Buying tickets
When purchasing a ticket, you pay the price set by the seller (never more than 20% above face value), plus a 7% service fee and a 3% transaction fee. For some payment methods like PayPal, an additional fee of 2% may apply.
General info on fees
A minimum service fee may apply for sellers and buyers depending on the event country and currency* – check the breakdown below for more info.
Prices may vary due to A/B testing experiments, but any applicable service fees will always be displayed clearly in the price breakdown before buying or selling. That way, you can know exactly what you’ll pay and make a well-informed decision.
Organiser resale tickets
For some events, organisers can buy back and resell tickets to their events via fans, as soon as there's a new buyer here. In those cases, you’ll be buying from or selling to the organiser of the event itself.
For organiser resale tickets, the organiser sets the resale conditions and charges the service costs, not TicketSwap. You’ll always see the applicable fees in the price breakdown before you sell. Here’s how it works:
Selling: If you’re selling tickets to an organiser, you pay seller's organiser costs per ticket, which is 5% of your listing price. If it’s a shared resale event, you split that profit between you and the organiser. You can find more info on shared resale here.
Buying: When buying resale tickets from an organiser, the price you see includes organiser costs and VAT. You’ll pay in the original seller’s currency, but we’ll always show you the original amount that’s been converted to your preferred currency.
We’ll always explain everything clearly to you in the buying or selling process, plus you can check the organiser’s T&Cs and company info.
Shared resale
When sellers offer a ticket that has shared resale turned on, whatever sellers make on top of the original ticket price will be split between the seller and the organiser. This way, sellers can make back a little extra, and the organiser can keep your favourite events going. Learn more about shared resale.
Ticket alerts
Ticket alerts are a free feature, which notify you when tickets are available for your favorite events. You can receive these alerts via email or push notification, and there is no charge for this service.
The service and transaction fees only apply when you're actually buying a ticket.
What are the supported currencies of the platform?
TicketSwap supports several currencies and each has its own payment methods. In some cases, you can choose to pay in your own currency, with a conversion fee added by TicketSwap. This can help you avoid conversion charges from your bank or card provider.
Remember, safety and reliability are our key priorities here at TicketSwap.
The platform takes numerous measures to ensure all tickets sold are valid and the transactions are secure. That way, you can enjoy peace of mind when you buy and sell tickets.
