Here you can find how to set and delete ticket alerts – and what to do if turning them off doesn’t seem to be working.

Setting ticket alerts

You can easily set a ticket alert through our app or on the website. Just go to the page of the event and to the type of ticket you’re looking for. Simply hit ‘Get ticket alerts and you’ll be notified whenever a ticket becomes available.

Turning off ticket alerts

If you’re receiving ticket alerts through your email, you can click on the ‘Turn off event notifications link in your email.

If you’re getting alerts on your phone, you can log in to your TicketSwap account and check which events you’re receiving notifications for. You’ll find this in your Ticket alerts tab in your Account. From there, you can click on the events that you’ve set ticket alerts for and press the ‘Alerts are on button. This will turn the notification off.

I keep getting alerts even though I turned them off

It doesn’t happen often, but sometimes it can be the case that you keep getting ticket alerts even though you’ve turned them off. Here are the two most common reasons for this and what you can do to fix it.

1. You’ve got multiple accounts

In most cases this is because you have multiple accounts linked with your name. Check the email address your notifications are coming from and log in to TicketSwap with this email. Then you can turn off ticket alerts like normal, through your settings or by going to the event page.

2. You’re logged in using Apple ID and your email

Apple has a feature called Apple private relay. This means that if at some point you didn’t want to use your actual email address, Apple created one for you. Sometimes, this means that a double notification is set because our system doesn’t know the difference between your Apple ID and your email. So you might end up getting the same notification twice. If you keep getting notifications even if you turned them off, you can solve this by logging in twice: once with your Apple ID and once with your email/Facebook. If you turn off ticket alerts on both accounts, this should fix the issue.
