Can I sell a ticket with my name on it?

Yes! When you buy a ticket from an event organiser, you’ll need to fill out your info so they can send you a valid ticket. Go ahead and fill in your name and details. Once you’ve downloaded it in the right format, you can easily list it on our platform.

Don’t worry – this normally won’t cause any issues for buyers. And in many cases, we can change the ticket to the buyer's name thanks to our SecureSwap technology.

It’s good to note that although the resale of already personalised tickets is allowed on our peer-to-peer platform, the organiser has the final say of whether you’ll be allowed entry.

What if the organiser says that the event is personalised?

At TicketSwap, we believe a ticket marketplace should be fair and safe, and fans should have the right to decide what to do with their tickets. Most events don’t check the name on the ticket, but buying secondhand always comes with that risk – whether you’re on our platform or elsewhere.

You can find out more here if you’re worried that your ticket has a different name.

We still do everything we can to make the process as safe as possible. We have a dedicated prevention team that keeps an eye on events active on our platform. We also have an after-sales team that investigates any issues at the door.

Contact our Support team before or after an event takes place if you have any questions.
